About Tammie

Tammie holds one of her horses and stands with multiple world and national champion show horse trainer Mark Shaffer

I started Whitt Show Horses in 1999, as a professional trainer specializing in Youth and Amateur riders. I’m also a Carded Judge with APHA, AGHA L1, PIHA, ABBA, ASHA, and POAC. Also AQHA, APHA, and PIHA recognized Professional Horsemen. And as of late 2025 an NSBA Category 1 Judge.

I have had the privilege of showing on several breed circuits, training, coaching, judging and helping to facilitate shows. My passion is helping people reach their goals with their riding, whether it is just being able to communicate more effectively as a rider or to go and show at a regional or national level. My clients compete at PIHA, APHA shows in Trail, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Pleasure and Ranch classes.

I enjoy being involved in the equine industry and to promote the organizations I am involved in. Judging is a passion and feel it is a great honor to officiate at any horse show from a schooling show to a regional championship.
